Our Story

Owner Nathaniel Redus had been involved in the hospitality and restaurant industry for many years before opening SZND Kitchen & Cocktails in 2022. He began in the nightclub scene during his college years, racking up an impressive resume of assisting bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and more.

Nathaniel specializes in marketing and promoting, and loves to serve his community. Nathaniel saw an opportunity to establish a restaurant and offer the locals a cool, unique eating experience.

Our attention to detail, maximum effort, and years of experience set us apart from other restaurants and bistros in the area. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, and the warm vibe and atmosphere of our restaurant. The food and cocktails we serve are seasonal and update throughout the year, so our menu is constantly changing!

Customers can expect a curated experience, where the servers pay attention to their needs and go above and beyond to meet them. We’re confident that everyone who gives our menu a try will love the taste of both our American food and specialty cocktails.

We’re best known for our specialty cocktails and brunch serves. We serve American bar and bistro food all day long, as well as sell high quality shishas and hookahs to our customers. Both our lounge and dining room are available for table reservations, and we have employment opportunities for bar backs and line cooks.

We’re looking forward to partnering with Madison, Huntsville, Athens, and the surrounding areas to continue offering delicious food and specialty cocktails to the community.
